Be Village Inc. is based in Otari Village, Nagano Prefecture, and provides hospitality services — car rental above all — to visitors from Japan and overseas. We operate three brands, Omachi Rent a Car, Hakuba Rent a Car and Matsumoto Rent a Car, serving the Omachi, Hakuba, Otari and Matsumoto areas all year round.

The Omachi area is the gateway to some of Japan’s most spectacular mountain scenery: the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Dam and the Northern Japan Alps. Many of these places are difficult to reach without a car, and we believe a rental car is the best way to enjoy the region at your own pace.

Alongside car rental we work with local lodges and ryokan, and we are developing cafe, wellness and guided-tour services. Our aim is to create places where travel connects people, nature and the local community — and to offer a warm welcome to everyone who comes to these mountains.

The Omachi area holds some of Japan’s finest scenery: the deep blue of Kurobe Dam, the sheer scale of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, the ridgelines of the Northern Alps, and hillsides that turn every colour in autumn. To experience it properly, though, you need to be able to move at your own pace. Providing that is our purpose.

Be Village Inc. runs car rental operations in Omachi, Hakuba and Matsumoto. In Omachi we have added the Omachi Onsenkyo Branch, closer to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, alongside our branch by Shinano-Omachi Station. Whether it is your first visit to Nagano, your tenth, or your first time in Japan, we want to offer safe, comfortable travel and a genuinely local welcome.
